Austin Center for Design

The Austin Center for Design (AC4D) is a private design school located in Austin, Texas. The school offers a Master of Fine Arts in Interaction Design, a 12-week intensive course in Design Thinking, and a range of workshops and events. Their mission is to educate and inspire designers to create positive impact in the world through their work. The curriculum focuses on human-centered design and gives students the opportunity to work on real-world projects with a variety of clients, from startups to non-profits. Additionally, students have the opportunity to take electives in areas such as service design, design research, and design strategy. The small class size of the program allows for a lot of individual attention and mentorship from experienced faculty. Graduates of the program go on to work in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, and education, as well as starting their own businesses.
