Hokkaido College of Art & Design
Hokkaido College of Art & Design (HCAD) is a higher education institution located in Sapporo, Japan. It was founded in 1993 as a public university and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in fine arts, design, and media. The school has a strong focus on practical training and encourages students to explore various forms of creative expression through various mediums and techniques.
HCAD’s Faculty of Fine Arts offers degree programs in painting, sculpture, and printmaking, as well as a program in Art and Design that allows students to explore multiple mediums. The Faculty of Design offers programs in graphic design, product design, and spatial design, while the Faculty of Media Arts offers programs in animation, game design, and media arts.
