The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is a private, independent college of art and design located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Founded in 1826, it is the oldest continuously degree-granting college of art and design in the nation. The college offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide range of fine arts and design disciplines, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, illustration, graphic design, animation, interdisciplinary sculpture, graphic design, illustration, interdisciplinary sculpture, and photography.
